xbullion makes buying gold easy
One of the biggest issues with investing in gold is that the commodity is not a liquid asset.
Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that invest in gold were introduced in 2003 as a way for investors to access the gold spot market in an equity form.
Gold-backed ETFs gave the commodity an element of liquidity.
xbullion takes this concept one step further by allowing owners to directly sell their 1kg or more of gold anywhere in the world, or redeem it for fiat or cryptocurrency.
We provide a mechanism to hold gold, rather than a derivative of gold, with the same level of liquidity.
All gold bullion located in the vault is insured in the event of theft, damage, or fire, offering clients absolute financial security around their holdings. All gold in the vault is insured by a leading underwriter.
The vault has been constructed underground within sandstone, allowing no direct access for any perimeter breach. The vault has a corridor within the sandstone around the exterior to detect any breaches and immediately trigger a lock down.
Plain clothed perimeter guards patrol the exterior of the vault, with two independent, undisclosed security firms also monitoring the vault internally and externally 24/7.
Private elevators are available on call for access to the vault. There is no direct access into the vault waiting area without prior reservation and an elevator request sent through to security.
Facial recognition, biometric fingerprint scans, pin access and physical identification checks are required to enter the vault.
The vault is able to be locked down, with a 60-second response time in the event any security measures are breached.
Blockchain ledger of asset ownership
Blockchain technology creates an immutable record that validates the value of gold in the vault with the digital gold in your wallet.
All gold bar serial numbers and ownership details are recorded on the blockchain and form part of the audit report completed by leading accounting firm BDO.
